Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from C-3 and R-1A(M) to R-1A and the Future Land Use Designation from General Commercial and Moderate Density Residential to Low Density Residential on 3.255 acres, Lot 3-B, Coteau de France or Ranson Tract, 17344 Highway 90, Des Allemands, as requested by Michael Dufrene.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner requests rezoning from C-3 and R-1A(M) to R-1A on 3.255 acres, Lot 3-B, Coteau de France or Ranson Tract, 17344 Highway 90, Des Allemands, as requested by Michael Dufrene; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of March 4, 2021.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from C-3 and R-1A(M) to R-1A and the Future Land Use Designation from General Commercial and Moderate Density Residential to Low Density Residential on 3.255 acres, Lot 3-B, Coteau de France or Ranson Tract, 17344 Highway 90, Des Allemands, as requested by Michael Dufrene.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from C-3 and R-1A(M) to R-1A and the Future Land Use Designation from General Commercial and Moderate Density Residential to Low Density Residential on 3.255 acres, Lot 3-B, Coteau de France or Ranson Tract, 17344 Highway 90, Des Allemands, as requested by Michael Dufrene.
SECTION III. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to make the corresponding change from General Commercial and Moderate Density Residential to Low Density Residential on the Future Land Use Map, adopted with Ordinance No. 11-6-11, amended by Ordinance No. 16-9-16.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
