Title
A resolution to re-organize and re-establish the St. Charles Parish Children and Youth Planning Board.
Body
WHEREAS, in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes, 46:1941.5 on June 19, 2006, the St. Charles Parish adopted Resolution No. 5353 creating and establishing the St. Charles Parish Children and Youth Planning Board; and,
WHEREAS, the board shall consist of not less than eleven (11) and not more than twenty-five (25) members of the community to serve; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5353 designated the membership be compromised of twelve (12) members, seven (7) members appointed by the parish council; and five (5) members appointed by the designated appointer; and,
WHEREAS, is the desire of the current members of this board to expand the membership to include an additional five (5) members to be appointed by the parish council.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby re-organize and re-establish the St. Charles Parish Children and Youth Planning Board.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said board shall be composed of the following membership:
One (1) member of the education community
One (1) member of the criminal justice community
One (1) member of the health care community
Three (3) members of the social services community
Two (2) members of the faith-based community
Two (2) members of the business and labor community
One (1) member of parenting and youth organizations
One (1) member of the legal community
One (1) member appointed by the Sheriff
One (1) member appointed by the District Attorney
One (1) member appointed by the District Judges
One (1) member appointed by the St. Charles Community Health Center Board
One (1) member appointed by the Parish President

The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2013 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
