An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, adopted October 19, 1981 to approve the change of zoning classification from R-1A and OL to R-1M at a parcel generally referred to as the Champagne property, beginning at a point approximately 200 feet south of LA 18, River Road, thence proceeding east approximately 110 feet, thence proceeding south approximately 1,140 feet, then west 110 feet, thence north approximately 1,140 feet to the point of beginning, as requested by Barton Champagne.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.                     An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, adopted October 19, 1981, to approve the change of zoning classification from R-1A and OL to R-1M at a parcel generally referred to as the Champagne property, beginning at a point approximately 200 feet south of LA 18, River Road, thence proceeding east approximately 110 feet, thence proceeding south approximately 1,140 feet, then west 110 feet, thence north approximately 1,140 feet to the point of beginning as requested by Barton Champagne.

SECTION II.                     To authorize the Department of Planning & Zoning to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Maps to reflect this reclassification from R-1A and OL to R-M at a parcel generally referred to as the Champagne property, beginning at a point approximately 200 feet south of LA 18, River Road, thence proceeding east approximately 110 feet, thence proceeding south approximately 1,140 feet, then west 110 feet, thence north approximately 1,140 feet to the point of beginning as requested by Barton Champagne.
