Proclamation: “Hahnville High School Alumni Day in St. Charles Parish”

P R O C L A M A T I O N
WHEREAS, Hahnville High School alumni represent decades of excellence, leadership, and achievement across various fields, and continue to serve as a source of pride and inspiration for the community of St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, the alumni of Hahnville High School form a powerful network of individuals committed to unity, mentorship, and celebrating a shared legacy that transcends generations; and,
WHEREAS, Saturday, August 30, 2025, marks the Inaugural Annual Hahnville High School Alumni Picnic - an event created to bring together past graduates in a spirit of fellowship, pride, and community building; and,
WHEREAS, this historic gathering is made possible through the extraordinary leadership and determination of Imani Gros, Lloyd Richard, and Jasmine Simmons, representing the HHS Alumni Experience Group, whose unwavering commitment has accomplished what many before have tried - the successful organization of a unifying alumni celebration; and,
WHEREAS, the establishment of “Alumni Day” is a tribute not only to this year’s celebration, but to the enduring spirit of the Hahnville alumni and their continued contributions to the social, educational, and civic vitality of St. Charles Parish.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM SATURDAY, AUGUST 30, 2025 AS
"HAHNVILLE HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI DAY
IN ST. CHARLES PARISH"
AND ENCOURAGE ALL CITIZENS TO RECOGNIZE AND CELEBRATE THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND LEGACY OF HAHNVILLE ALUMNI, AND TO HONOR THE EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP OF IMANI GROS, LLOYD RICHARD, AND JASMINE SIMMONS OF THE HHS ALUMNI EXPERIENCE GROUP IN MAKING THIS CELEBRATION A REALITY.
