Title
A resolution approving and authorizing the execution of a letter by St. Charles Parish approving Civil & Sports Design Engineering, LLC, as the assignee of Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, regarding Ordinance No. 19-2-10, Professional Service Multi-Phase Project Contract with Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers for providing all necessary professional engineering services for 1,270-foot road extension of the Rue La Cannes roadway (Parish Project No. P190102) and executed February 20, 2019; and Ordinance No. 24-7-14, Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement with Danny J. Hebert, P.E., LLC d.b.a. Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, to perform professional engineering services for the Deputy Jeff G. Watson Dr. Roadway Extension (Project No. P190102) formerly Rue La Cannes Road Extension executed July 31, 2024.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 19-2-10 adopted on February 18, 2019, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a Professional Service Multi-Phase Project Contract with Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, for providing all necessary professional engineering services for a 1,270-foot road extension of the Rue La Cannes roadway (Parish Project Number P190102); and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 24-7-14 adopted on July 22, 2024, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 19-2-10 which approved the Professional Services Agreement with Danny J. Hebert, P.E., L.L.C. d.b.a. Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, to perform professional engineering services for the Deputy Jeff G. Watson Dr. Roadway Extension (Project No. P190102), formerly Rue La Cannes Road Extension in the amount of $55,350.00; and,
WHEREAS, Civil & Sports Design Engineering, LLC, is the assignee of the Contracts for Engineering Services with Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers; and,
WHEREAS, all services, compensation, schedule and payment shall remain as provided in Ordinance Nos. 19-2-10 and 24-7-14.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of a letter supporting the asignee of Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers to Civil & Sports Design Engineering, LLC, in connection with engineering services for Rue La Cannes roadway (Parish Project No. P190102) and Deputy Jeff G. Watson Dr. Roadway Extension (Project No. P190102) formerly Rue La Cannes Road Extension, originally entered into with St. Charles Parish on February 20, 2019 and July 31, 2024.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said letter supporting the assignee of Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers to Civil & Sports Design Engineering, LLC.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
