Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an amendment to the Contract for Engineering Services with Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for necessary professional engineering services associated with Project Representation for Subdivision Construction, Project No. P000301.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council desires to have the following described project undertaken:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Engineering services for Project Representation for Subdivision Construction. The services will include providing project representative services for construction of all major subdivisions within the Parish; and,
WHEREAS, on April 25, 2000 the St. Charles Parish Qualifications Based Selection Review Panel selected the firm of Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering services for said project; and,
WHEREAS, on June 5, 2000, the St. Charles Parish Council passed Ordinance 00-6-2 which authorized the execution of a Contract for Engineering Services with Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for necessary professional engineering services associated with project representation for subdivision construction, Project No. P000301; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the St. Charles Parish Council to extend the term of this contract for an additional year in accordance with Paragraph 5.1 of said contract.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Contract for Engineering Services between Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. and the Parish of St. Charles is hereby amended.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said amendment on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
