Title

An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification from R-1A(M) to R-2 at Lot 10-B of a Portion of Ellington Plantation Along Magnolia Ridge Road, 231 Magnolia Ridge Road as requested by David and Tawanda Thomas.

Body

WHEREAS,                     the property owners, David and Tawanda Thomas, request a change of zoning classification of from R-1A(M) to R-2 at Lot 10-B of a Portion of Ellington Plantation as shown on a survey by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated December 2, 2015; and,

WHEREAS,                     the requested change does not conflict with the recommendations of the Future Land Use Map; and,

WHEREAS,                     the St Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,

WHEREAS,                     the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of February 4, 2016.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.                     An ordinance to amend Ordinance 81-10-6, the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification from R-1A(M) to R-2 at Lot 10-B of a Portion of Ellington Plantation as shown on a survey by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated December 2, 2015.

                     SECTION II.                     That the St. Charles Parish Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect this reclassification from R-1A(M) to R-2 at Lot 10-B of a Portion of Ellington Plantation as shown on a survey by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated December 2, 2015.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

 

 

 

 

                     And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2016 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
