IN   RECOGNITION

WHEREAS,                     the St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation Department has long held a prominent place in the State of Louisiana and the United States as an outstanding Parish and Recreation Program; and,

WHEREAS,                     the St. Charles Parish Boys 9U All-Stars have excelled in the 2019 All-Star Basketball Season; and,

WHEREAS,                     the 9U All-Stars finished 3^rd at the Invitational held February 1-3, 2019, in Raceland; they finished 2^nd at the Region III Invitational held February 15-17, 2019, at Jefferson Parish Recreation Department (JPRD) West; and they finished 2^nd at the March 8-10, 2019, Invitational held in Larose; and,

WHEREAS,                     the 9U All-Stars finished 2^nd at the State Tournament held March 15-17, 2019, at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center in Luling and they participated in the 10U National Tournament held March 29-April 3, 2019 in Vermilion Parish where they finished in 1^st place; and,

WHEREAS,                     members of the St. Charles Parish Council and the Parish President wish to recognize the outstanding performance of members of the 2019 St. Charles Parish Boys 9U All-Star Team and their Coaches.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY RECOGNIZE
