Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from R-1A to O-L totaling approximately 3.6 acres and consisting of a portion of Lot A.R.-1 as shown on the resubdivision map of the Nina Champagne Tract by R.P. Bernard, PLS dated August 25, 2007, an undesignated 78 ft. by 800 ft. portion of the former Nina Champagne Tract, municipal address 141 Crooked R. Lane, Ama, and an approximately 1.5 acre undesignated portion of the former Nina Champagne Tract including a portion of Crooked R. Lane, as requested by Brennen and Melissa Friloux.

WHEREAS, Brennen and Melissa Friloux requests a rezoning from R-1A to O-L totaling approximately 3.6 acres and consisting of a portion of Lot A.R.-1 as shown on the resubdivision map of the Nina Champagne Tract by R.P. Bernard, PLS dated August 25, 2007, an undesignated 78 ft. by 800 ft. portion of the former Nina Champagne Tract, municipal address 141 Crooked R. Lane, Ama, and an approximately 1.5 acre undesignated portion of the former Nina Champagne Tract including a portion of Crooked R. Lane; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting on March 2, 2023.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from R-1A to O-L totaling approximately 3.6 acres and consisting of a portion of Lot A.R.-1 as shown on the resubdivision map of the Nina Champagne Tract by R.P. Bernard, PLS dated August 25, 2007, an undesignated 78 ft. by 800 ft. portion of the former Nina Champagne Tract, municipal address 141 Crooked R. Lane, Ama, and an approximately 1.5 acre undesignated portion of the former Nina Champagne Tract including a portion of Crooked R. Lane, as requested by Brennen and Melissa Friloux.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from R- 1A to O-L totaling approximately 3.6 acres and consisting of a portion of Lot A.R.-1 as shown on the resubdivision map of the Nina Champagne Tract by R.P. Bernard, PLS dated August 25, 2007, an undesignated 78 ft. by 800 ft. portion of the former Nina Champagne Tract, municipal address 141 Crooked R. Lane, Ama, and an approximately 1.5 acre undesignated portion of the former Nina Champagne Tract including a portion of Crooked R. Lane, as requested by Brennen and Melissa Friloux.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
