Title

An ordinance to Amend Section 23-2 of the Parish Code of Ordinances, Water Service Charges to adjust the rates for various Waterworks Fees.

Body

WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Department of Waterworks has calculated the actual expenditures for various services since 1994 and these expenditures have been reviewed annually by Gulf South Engineers, Inc. as part of their annual Consulting Engineer's Report; and,

WHEREAS,      the current fee charged for these services does not reflect the actual expenses incurred by the Department of Waterworks in performing the services and GSE, Inc. has recommended that the fees be adjusted to cover actual costs.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      That Section 23-2, III. Charges is hereby amended as follows,
