Title
A resolution providing mandatory support for a waiver from the required width on a developed public street for Lot 3A-1 proposed in PZS 2011-18, a resubdivision of Lot 2B-1 of Portion of Coteau de France into Lots 2B-1-A & 3A-1 located in Sections 47 & 48 of T14S-R20E, requested by First Assembly of God Church of Des Allemands.
Body
WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Ordinance requires a supporting resolution from the Parish Council to waive the requirement for a lot to be 50' wide along a developed public street in the R-1A(M) zoning district; and,
WHEREAS,      resubdivision PZS 2011-18, requested by First Assembly of God Church of Des Allemands, shown on the plat by G. Alex Teague, dated 06/21/11and entitled "Resubdivision of Lot 2B-1 of Portion of Coteau de France into Lots 2B-1-A & 3A-1 located in Sections 47 & 48 of T14S-R20E, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana," proposes such a lot, 3A-1, that is land-locked and is not 50' wide on a developed public street; and,
WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission, at its August 4, 2011 meeting, recommended approval of the resubdivision with a waiver from the required width; and,
WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Council wishes to grant a 20' wide easement through Lot 41-F, which is deeded to St. Charles Parish under ordinance 91-5-21, 07-10-4 to provide access to proposed Lot 3A-1 as shown on the plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby grant an easement through Lot 41-F in favor of Lot 3A-1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, does hereby provide this resolution in support of PZS-2011-18, for Resubdivision of Lot 2B-1 of Portion of Coteau de France into Lots 2B-1-A & 3A-1 located in Sections 47 & 48 of T14S-R20E, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana as shown on the Plat by G. Alex Teague dated 6/21/2011 with a waiver from the required width or frontage on a developed public street for Lot 3A-1, as requested by First Assembly of God Church of Des Allemands.
