Title
An ordinance to enter into a Wetland Mitigation Agreement with Riverside Coastal Mitigation Lands, LLC for $54,150.00 for emergency work during Tropical Storm Francis as required by the US Army Corps of Engineers (Permit No. EL-19-990-0302) and the Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Division (Permit No. P981531).
Body
WHEREAS,      the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers authorized the emergency work under Category I of the Programmatic General Permit dated June 14, 1999; and,
WHEREAS,      Riverside Coastal Mitigation Lands, LLC is the only approved mitigation area for bottomland hardwoods and swamp habitat located in the same hydrologic basin, a requirement of the Louisiana Administrative Code Title 43, 724.J.2-4; and,
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL do hereby enter into a Wetland Mitigation Agreement with Riverside Coastal Mitigation Lands, LLC for $54,150.00 for emergency work during Tropical Storm Francis as required by the US Army Corps of Engineers (Permit No. EL-19-990-0302) and the Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Division (Permit No. P981531).
