Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with Evans-Graves Engineers, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P011005, Murray Hill Subsurface Drainage.
Body
WHEREAS, subsurface drainage is required in the area between Destrehan and Murray Hill Drives in order to improve drainage during storms; and,
WHEREAS, this project design will implement a subsurface drainage system in the aforementioned area from the RR tracks to LA 48; and,
WHEREAS, the QBS Selection Board met on February 26, 2003 and recommended award of Parish Project No. P011005, Murray Hill Subsurface Drainage to Evans-Graves Engineers, Inc. (See Attachment A); and,
WHEREAS, the Probable Project Budget for this contract is as follows:
Construction $ 502,500
Basic Engineering 35,500
Soils Investigation 5,500
Surveying 10,500
Resident Inspection 61,000
Testing/Other 21,000
Total Probable Project Budget $ 636,000
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Evans-Graves Engineers, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P011005, Murray Hill Subsurface Drainage be hereby accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Engineering Services Contract.
