Title
A resolution providing mandatory supporting authorization to Pintail Contracting Services, LLC on behalf of 310 Investments, LLC (PZSPU-2013-17) to endorse the Planning and Zoning Commission approval of a Special Permit Use to locate a heliport on land zoned AV-1 at Lot 3, Square 13, Esperanza Business Park (579 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway), Luling.

WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) requires a supporting resolution of the Parish Council of a special permit use to locate a heliport on land zoned AV-1; and,
WHEREAS,      at their February 6, 2014 regular meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the special permit use application with a stipulation that the heliport be a private facility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide this supporting resolution to Pintail Contracting Services, LLC on behalf of 310 Investments, LLC to endorse the Planning and Zoning Commission approval of a Special Permit Use to locate a heliport on land zoned AV-1 at Lot 3, Square 13, Esperanza Business Park (579 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway), Luling with the following stipulations:
1)      that it be a private facility that only serves helicopters owned by the company owning the improvements on the property, with the exception of emergency situations,
2)      no more than five (5) aircraft are allowed at the facility.
