Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of an Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 22-1-4 which approved the Professional Services Agreement with Kyle Associates, LLC, to perform engineering services for the Norco Force Main Transfer Station (Project No. S211101).

Body

WHEREAS,                     Ordinance No. 22-1-4 adopted on January 24, 2022, by the St. Charles Parish Council approved and authorize the execution of a Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Kyle Associates, LLC for the design of the Norco Force Main Transfer Station (Project No. S211101); and,

WHEREAS,                     the proposed location for the new transfer station is not owned by St. Charles Parish, and therefore needs to have a boundary survey and servitude plat completed for property acquisition; and,

WHEREAS,                     St. Charles Parish and Kyle Associates, LLC have mutually agreed to a not-to-exceed fee of $17,788.20 to complete the work; and,

WHEREAS,                     the Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Kyle Associates, LLC, describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.                     That Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Kyle Associates, LLC, for the Norco Force Main Transfer Station (Project No. S211101) in the amount not to exceed $17,788.20, is hereby approved and accepted.

SECTION II.                     That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute Amendment No. 1 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
