Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two (2), Final Balance and Change Order, for the Lakewood Drive Drainage Improvements project to increase the contract amount by $50,560.09.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 98-9-10 on September 21, 1998 approving a contract with J. Caldarera & Company, Inc. for the construction of the Lakewood Drive Drainage Improvements project; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Emergency Ordinance No. 99-10-1 on October 4, 1999 approving Change Order No. 1 to the above referenced contract to decrease the contract amount by $725,870.70 and to increase the contract time by 113 calendar days; and,
WHEREAS, all parties have agreed to the final contract quantities which requires the approval of a change order to increase the contract amount by $50,560.09.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 2 to the above referenced contract to increase the contract amount by $50,560.09 is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 2 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two (2), Final Balance and Change Order, Lakewood Drive Drainage Improvements Project to increase the contract amount by $50,560.09.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
