TRIBUTE

District II, Councilwoman Mary K. Clulee is a native of Hahnville, residing in Luling.  She is married to Neal Clulee, and they are the proud parents of three sons: Ryan, Dominick (wife Monique), and Michael (wife Monika) and have four grandchildren: Aubry, Austin, Jack and Easton.

 

Councilwoman Clulee is a graduate of Hahnville High School and Soule’ Business School.  She worked for United Parcel Service (UPS) for 20 years and then worked in her family business.

 

Councilwoman Clulee was first elected to the St. Charles Parish Council on October 24, 2015, and took office January 11, 2016, as District II, Councilwoman.  She ran unopposed and was re-elected to a second term on October 12, 2019.

 

Councilwoman Clulee is a member of the Special Projects/Public Safety, Health, and Environmental Committee, the Contract/Finance and Administrative Committee, the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Management Committee, the Legislative Committee, and the Hurricane Protection Projects Committee.

 

Councilwoman Clulee is the Ex-Officio member of the Hospital Service District Board of Directors,  She is a member of the Sunset Drainage District Board of Directors, served as Co-Chairman of the 2030 Comprehensive Land Use Plan Committee, and member of the Plan Update Committee.

 

Councilwoman Clulee is a member of the Police Jury Association of Louisiana, the National Association of County Officials (NACo), and NACo’s Environment, Energy, and Land Use Policy Steering Committee.

 

Councilwoman Clulee is a member of the St. Charles Parish Council on Aging Board of Directors, the Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish, the St. Charles Hospital Auxiliary, the River Region Boy Scouts Golden Eagle Breakfast Committee, and a former member of the Child Advocacy Services Board of Directors.
