ORDINANCE NO.       01-12-1      

Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of an Act of Dedication for Riverwood Estates Phase I Subdivision, St. Rose, St. Charles Parish, LA.

Body

WHEREAS, Riverwood Estates Phase I, L.L.C. are the owners and developers of a certain portion of property located in portion of Section 39 T13S, R9E, St. Charles Parish, on a Final Plat prepared by Mandle-Edwards Surveying, Inc. and dated November 4, 2001, as a Resubdivision of a 40.34 acre tract of land located in Section 39, T13S, R9E, Southeast Land District of Louisiana, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana into Lots 1-109 Riverwood Estates and Lot S-1, and the Dedication of Riverwood Drive.

WHEREAS, said subdivision has been constructed in accordance with the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Regulations of 1981, as amended; and,

WHEREAS,      all required administrative reviews and approvals have been effected relative to said subdivision.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.  That the attached Act of Dedication Riverwood Estates Phase I, L.L.C. for Riverwood Estates Phase I Subdivision which includes Lots 1- 109 and Lot S-1 is hereby approved and accepted; and,

      SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Final Plat and Act of Dedication on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

      SECTION III.      St. Charles Parish will not accept Dedication of, nor responsibility for maintenance of, lot S1 or any improvements thereof.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

NAYS:      NONE

ABSENT:      NONE

      And the ordinance was declared adopted this    3^rd    day of   December  , 2001, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
