Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a contract with Couvillion Group, LLC, for Parish Project No. P150801-2 Ama Drainage Improvements Rebid, with a Bid in the amount of $2,752,705.00.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 17-9-1 adopted September 18, 2017, by the St. Charles Council, approved and authorized the execution of a Contract for Engineering Services with Civil and Environmental Consulting Engineers, for necessary professional engineering services associated with Parish Project No. P150801-2 Ama Drainage Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on December 14, 2021, for Parish Project No. P150801-2 Ama Drainage Improvements Rebid; and,
WHEREAS, Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, the Engineer for the Project, has reviewed the bids and recommend that the Bid be awarded to the lowest bidder, Couvillion Group, LLC, in the total amount of $2,752,705.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Couvillion Group, LLC, for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. P150801-2 Ama Drainage Improvements Rebid, is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $2,752,705.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
SECTION III. A final Notice of Contract shall be printed and filed in place of the contract documents with the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court and in the records of the St. Charles Parish Council.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
