Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2(Final) for Parish Project No. P090201-3 Primrose Ellington Canal Culvert Replacements to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $58,072.56 and increase in contract time by eleven (11) days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14-12-13 adopted December 15, 2014, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Fleming Construction Co., LLC for Parish Project No. P090201-3 Primrose Ellington Canal Crossing in the amount of $1,999,453.40; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15-7-16 adopted July 20, 2015, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized Change Order No. 1 to Parish Project No. P090201-3 Primrose Ellington Canal Culvert Replacements increasing contract amount by $198,625.91 and increase contract time by 45 days; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $58,072.56 and increase contract time by 11 days. Final contract amount will be $2,140,006.85.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS,
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 2 (Final) for Parish Project No. P090201-3 Primrose Ellington Canal Culvert Replacements, to decrease the contract amount by $58,072.56 and increase the contract time by eleven (11) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 2 (Final) on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
