Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between The Parish of St. Charles and The Louisiana Land Trust for the management of Properties purchased in St. Charles Parish by The Road Home Program.
Body
WHEREAS, The Louisiana Land Trust is a non-profit organization formed to manage the properties that have been purchased by the State of Louisiana under the Road Home Program as part of the on-going recovery effort from the damage caused by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005; and,
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the maintenance of any Road Home properties in St. Charles Parish it is necessary to execute a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the Louisiana Land Trust; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Agreement.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between The Parish of St. Charles and The Louisiana Land Trust is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Cooperative Endeavor Agreement on behalf of The Parish of St. Charles.
