RESOLUTION NO.
Title
A resolution to approve and authorize the execution of a letter by St. Charles Parish approving MB3, Inc. as the successor of GCR, Inc. regarding the Professional Services Agreement with GCR, Inc. for the West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee.
Body
WHEREAS, as approved in Ordinance 08-10-6, St. Charles Parish entered into a Professional Services Agreement with GCR & Associates, Inc. on October 30, 2008 the scope of which was to provide right of way and program management services for various phases of the West Bank Hurricane Project Levee; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council determined that services were still required for the progression of the project and adopted Ordinance No. 11-2-13 approving Amendment No. 1, Ordinance No. 12-10-6 approving Amendment No. 2, Ordinance No. 14-4-3 approving Amendment No. 3, Ordinance No. 15-6-7 approving Amendment No. 4, Ordinance No. 16-7-5 approving Amendment No. 5, Ordinance No. 18-12-1 approving Amendment No. 6 and Ordinance No. 20-6-3 approving Amendment No. 7; and,
WHEREAS, GCR Inc. was the successor to GCR & Associates, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, MB3, Inc. is the successor to GCR, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, all services, compensation, schedule and payment shall remain as provided in Ordinance No. 20-6-3 approving Amendment No. 7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of a letter supporting the successor of GCR, Inc. to MB3, Inc. in connection with the Professional Services Agreement originally entered into with St. Charles Parish on October 30, 2008 and amended as provided above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said letter supporting the succession of GCR, Inc. to MB3, Inc.
