Title
A resolution requesting that the Attorney General provide an Opinion as to what requirements or obligations are there, if any, in regards to the frequency and number of official meetings per year that are to be held by the Sunset Drainage District, of which the St. Charles Parish Council is its governing authority, to conduct Sunset Drainage District business.
Body
WHEREAS, on June 30, 2014 the Attorney General provided Opinion 14-0087 relative to the St. Charles Parish Council having become the newly situated governing authority of the Sunset Drainage District and having assumed all functions of the previous governing authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request that the Attorney General provide an Opinion as to what requirements or obligations are there, if any, in regards to the frequency and number of official meetings per year that are to be held by the Sunset Drainage District, of which the St. Charles Parish Council is its governing authority, to conduct Sunset Drainage District business.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
