Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 and Final for the Records Storage Building at 15012 C River Road in Hahnville.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 10-10-5 on October 18, 2010 approving and authorizing the execution of a contract with F. J. Arcement Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Records Storage Building (File Storage Building) at 15012 C River Road in Hahnville; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the original contract to reflect those items more fully described in Change Order No. 1, said adjustment as recommended by Campo Designs Architects, Inc. in the amount of a $3,338.00 increase and to decrease the Contract Time by 6 days; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Change Order No. 1.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 and Final for the Records Storage Building (File Storage Building) in the amount of a $3,338.00 increase and a decrease in Contract Time of six days is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 1and Final on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
