ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of an Engineering Services Agreement with Evans-Graves Engineers, Inc. to perform services for the Prescott Pump Station Enforcement Actions project (Project No. P210201).
Body
WHEREAS, a third pump was added to the Prescott Pump Station many years ago without a permit along with other work; and,
WHEREAS, the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources and the Office of Coastal Management are requiring certain services to analyze the impact of the unpermitted work; and,
WHEREAS, Evans-Graves Engineers, Inc. submitted a proposal to perform these required services; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Engineering Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Evans-Graves Engineers, Inc. describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Evans-Graves Engineers, Inc. for services as required by the Department of Public Works is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2021, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
