IN   RECOGNITION
WHEREAS,      Rayne-Lin Bjorkman is a resident of Lafourche Parish residing in Larose, Louisiana with her parents Stacey and Mathias Bjorkman, and her brother Hunter; and,
WHEREAS,      Rayne-Lin is currently a 7th grader at Larose Middle School; and,
WHEREAS,      Rayne-Lin enjoys camping, swimming, singing, shopping, and traveling; and,
WHEREAS,      Rayne-Lin was crowned Teen Queen II at the second annual St. Charles Parish Relay for Life Pageant held Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the Paradis Volunteer Fire Station in Paradis, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS,      Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity uniting communities to celebrate cancer survivors, remember people who lost their battle to the disease, and honor those still fighting while raising awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
RAYNE-LIN BJORKMAN
