Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Danny J. Hebert, P.E., L.L.C., d.b.a. Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers to perform engineering services for the LA 18 Cast Iron Water Main Replacement, Phase III (Project No. WWKS 113), in the not to exceed amount of $120,150.00.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish desires to replace approximately 4,800 linear feet of the original aged cast iron water main along LA-18 in Hahnville with new C-900 PVC water line to meet the St. Charles Parish current specifications; and,
WHEREAS, the projected work includes, but not limited to: designing an eight (8) inch directionally drilled C-900 PVC water main for approximately 4,800 linear feet with all appurtenances including all necessary permitting geotechnical testing and an estimated one hundred fifty (150) calendar days of inspection; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish wishes to contract with Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, to perform the Plan Development, Bidding and Advertising, and Construction for the LA 18 Cast Iron Water Main Replacement, Phase III (Project No. WWKS 113) as described in Attachments A, B, and C.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Danny J. Hebert, P.E., L.L.C., d.b.a. Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers to perform engineering services for the LA 18 Cast Iron Water Main Replacement, Phase III (Project No. WWKS 113), in the not to exceed amount of $120,150.00 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
