IN   RECOGNITION
WHEREAS,      Coach Lou Valdin and his wife Robin are residents of Gretna, Louisiana in Jefferson Parish and they are the proud parents of three daughters, Lauren, Amanda, and Heather; and,
WHEREAS,       Coach Valdin, 2002 District 6-5A Coach of the Year, has Coached the Hahnville Tigers for the past four seasons to a 38 & 10 record; and,
WHEREAS,      Coach Valdin has received numerous honors during his coaching career, they are:  2002 District 6-5A Coach of the Year; 2002 NFL High School Summit Louisiana Delegate; 2002 USA All-Star Team in Global Junior Championships Coaching Staff; 2001 Louisiana Football Magazine's South Region Coach of the Year; 2000 River Parish and District 7-5A Coach of the Year; 1999 and 1997 NFL New Orleans Saints Coach of the Week.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
