Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning reclassification of Lots 30, 31 & 32, located at 237 Annex Street, New Sarpy from C-2 to R-1AM, as requested by Anthony Reynaud.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner requests rezoning the property from C-2 to R-1AM; and,
WHEREAS, the St Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommended denial of this request; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request at its regular meeting of April 7, 2016.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. St Charles Parish does hereby approve an ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning reclassification of Lots 30, 31 & 32, located at 237 Annex Street, New Sarpy from C-2 to R-1AM, as requested by Anthony Reynaud.
SECTION II. That the St. Charles Parish Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect this reclassification from Lots 30, 31 & 32, located at 237 Annex Street, New Sarpy from C-2 to R-1AM, as requested by Anthony Reynaud.
SECTION III. That the St. Charles Parish Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to amend the official St. Charles Parish Future Land Use Map to reflect this reclassification from General Commercial to Low-Density Residential on Lots 30, 31 & 32, located at 237 Annex Street, New Sarpy, as requested by Anthony Reynaud.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2016 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
