IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Tony Lee Corley III is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Boutte, Louisiana with his parents Tony and Cyndi Corley, and his sister Victoria; and,
WHEREAS,      Tony is a member of Troop 370, chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career in September 2004; and,
WHEREAS,      Tony has spent the last 9 years as an active member of the Scouts spending the last 5 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS,      Tony has earned his 21 merit badges from a list of 126 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by repairing, cleaning, and painting the parking lot of West St. Charles Baptist Church in Boutte.  His project was completed in January 2013; and,
WHEREAS,      Tony earned these 21 badges by showing leadership ability as Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, and Troop Guide; and,
WHEREAS,      Tony rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on June 15, 2014, and received his medal in a ceremony on December 14, 2014, at the St. Anthony of Padua Community Activity Building in Luling; and,
WHEREAS,      Tony is a Senior at Hahnville High School and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 370.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
TONY LEE CORLEY, III
