Title
A resolution authorizing the issuance of a Special License to Boys & Girls Clubs of New Orleans, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, Parishes of the State of Louisiana are authorized to issue special licenses for super bingos pursuant to the authority granted by L.R.S. 4861.7; and,
WHEREAS, Section II.D. of Ordinance No. 89-4-2 provides that the Parish Council may issue by resolution special licenses for the conduct of bingo sessions at which the total amount of prizes to be awarded shall not exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) in cash or other thing(s) of value.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby authorize the issuance of a Special License to Boys & Girls Clubs of New Orleans, Inc. to conduct a Super Bingo on December 3, 1999, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with the total amount of prizes to be awarded for each game not exceeding Fifteen Thousand dollars ($15,000.00).
