A resolution providing mandatory supporting authorization for approval of a Special Permit Use for an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) on land zoned R-1A with a waiver to the requirement that ADU shall use the electrical service to the primary structure and with the condition that water and sewer installations are extended from the primary structure at 260 Edgewood Lane, Montz as requested by Christal & Don Wetherington.

WHEREAS, the applicants, Christal & Don Wetherington, desires to obtain a Special Permit Use for an accessory dwelling unit on land zoned R-1A at 260 Edgewood Lane, Montz; and,
WHEREAS, the applicants are requesting a waiver to the requirement that the accessory dwelling shall use the electrical service from the primary structure at 260 Edgewood Lane, Montz; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Department recommended approval of the Special Permit Use for an accessory dwelling unit on land zoned R-1A with the condition that water and sewer installations are extended from the primary structure at 260 Edgewood Lane, Montz; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission approved the Special Permit Use for an accessory dwelling unit on land zoned R-1A with a waiver that the ADU shall use the electrical service to the primary structure and with the condition that water and sewer installations are extended from the primary structure and at 260 Edgewood Lane, Montz.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL provides this resolution in support of the Planning and Zoning Commission's decision to issue a Special Permit Use for an accessory dwelling unit on land zoned R-1A with a waiver to the requirement that the accessory dwelling shall use the electrical service from the primary structure and with the condition that water and sewer installations are extended from the primary struc...
