IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Max Guidry is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana with his parents Bob and Debbie Guidry, his grandmother Grace Emden, and his sister Megan; and,
WHEREAS,      Max is a Member of Troop 710, chartered by the Kehoe-France School in Metairie; he started his Scouting career September 2001; and,
WHEREAS,      Max has spent the last nine years as an active member of the Scouts spending his time preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS,      Max has earned his 34 merit badges from a list of 137 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by restoring six memorial benches for John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Metairie. His project was accomplished on December 5, 2009; and,
WHEREAS,      Max earned these 34 badges by showing leadership ability as Scribe, Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, and Troop Guide; and,
WHEREAS,      Max rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on January 31, 2010, and received his medal in a ceremony on March 14, 2010 at the Kehoe-France School in Metairie; and,
WHEREAS,      Max is a Sophomore at Jesuit High School in New Orleans and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by enrolling in LSU to pursue a possible career in Veterinary Medicine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
MAX GUIDRY
"PARISH   OF   PLENTY"
created in 1807 from the county of the
"German Coast", a parish of
