Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with Barowka & Bonura Engineers & Consultants, L.L.C. for the design of Parish Project No. P030615, Bar None East Subsurface, Phase III.
Body
WHEREAS, subsurface drainage improvements are required on Canyon and Holster Lanes from Palamino Drive eastward to the dead end due to improperly sized culverts and inadequate catch basin spacing; and,
WHEREAS, this project design will implement all the necessary changes along the eastern portions of Canyon and Holster Lanes to improve stormwater flows to the eastern drainage ditch of Bar None Ranch Estates; and,
WHEREAS, the QBS Selection Board met on March 3, 2004 and recommended award of Parish Project No. P030615, Bar None East Subsurface, Phase III to Barowka & Bonura Engineers & Consultants, L.L.C. (See Attachment A); and,
WHEREAS, the Probable Project Budget for this contract is as follows:
Construction $ 172,200
Basic Engineering 20,925
Soils Investigation 1,600
Surveying 3,400
Resident Inspection 20,000
Testing/Other 7,500
Total Probable Project Budget $ 225,625
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Barowka & Bonura Engineers & Consultants, L.L.C. for the design of Parish Project No. P030615, Bar None East Subsurface, Phase III be hereby accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Engineering Services Contract.
