Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, as amended, to change the zoning classification from C-2 to R-1A(M) on Lot D-1, as shown on a survey titled "Resubdivision of a Portion of Property Abutting Gassen Subdivision" by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated March 24, 2015, revised June 3, 2015, as requested by Diahann L. Dufresne and Joseph Dufresne, Jr.

WHEREAS, Diahann L. Dufresne and Joseph Dufresne, Jr. request a rezoning from C- 2 to R-1A(M) on Lot D-1, as shown on a survey titled "Resubdivision of a Portion of Property Abutting Gassen Subdivision" by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated March 24, 2015, revised June 3, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request at its regular meeting of December 1, 2022.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981, as amended, is further amended to change the zoning classification from C-2 to R-1A(M) on Lot D-1, as shown on a survey titled "Resubdivision of a Portion of Property Abutting Gassen Subdivision" by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated March 24, 2015, revised June 3, 2015, as requested by Diahann L. Dufresne and Joseph Dufresne, Jr.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from C-2 to R-1A(M) on Lot D-1, as shown on a survey titled "Resubdivision of a Portion of Property Abutting Gassen Subdivision" by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated March 24, 2015, revised June 3, 2015, as requested by Diahann L. Dufresne and Joseph Dufresne, Jr.
