IN   RECOGNITION

 

WHEREAS,                     Anthony Paul Distefano is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana with his parents Flint and Michelle and sisters Isabella and Sophia; and,

WHEREAS,                     Anthony is a member of Troop 370 chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career September of 2008; and,

WHEREAS,                     Anthony has spent the last 9 years as an active member of the Scouts spending the last 5 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,

WHEREAS,                     Anthony has earned his 36 merit badges from a list of 126 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by building and installing four multi use animal shaped benches in the Wetland Watchers park on the Jetty in Lake Pontchartrain; and,

WHEREAS,                     Anthony earned these 36 badges by showing leadership ability as Chaplin’s Aide, Assistant Patrol Leader, and Troop Guide; and,

WHEREAS,                     Anthony rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on March 5, 2017, and received his medal in a ceremony on September 16, 2017, at the St. Anthony of Padua Community Activity Building in Luling; and,

WHEREAS,                     Anthony will be graduating from Hahnville High School in 2019 and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 370.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
