Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with Boh Bros. Construction Co., L.L.C. for the St. Charles Parish West Bank Multi-Use Path, State Project No. 744-45-0007, Federal Project No. ARR-4502(500) said Path to extend from Elm Street in Hahnville to Davis Drive in Luling.
Body
WHEREAS, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development opened bids on June 17, 2009 for the above referenced project; and ,
WHEREAS, the Department and the Parish have reviewed said bids and recommend that the project be awarded to the low bidder, Boh Bros. Construction Co., L.L.C. in the amount of $1,338,192.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Contract.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Boh Bros. Construction Co., L.L.C. for the St Charles Parish West Bank Multi-Use Path, State Project No. 744-45-0007, Federal Project No. ARR-4502(500) is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $1,338,192.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Contract on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
