Title
A resolution requesting a change of the Polling Place for all elections held in Precinct 2-3, revising the current location from Mimosa Park Elementary School, 222 Birch Street, Luling, Louisiana, to The Bible Center Church, 422 Barton Avenue, Luling, Louisiana.
Body
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6625, adopted on April 4, 2022, by the St. Charles Parish Council, requested an emergency temporary change of the Polling Place for all Elections held at Precinct 2-3 as a result of Hurricane Ida and the damage sustained to certain Polling Places; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to request approval from the Louisiana Secretary of State to change the Polling Place for Precinct 2-3, revising the current location from Mimosa Park Elementary School, located at 222 Birch Street, Luling, Louisiana, to The Bible Center Church, located at 422 Barton Avenue, Luling, Louisiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL revise the following Polling Place held in Precinct 2-3.
