IN   RECOGNITION

 

WHEREAS,                     Brandon Joseph Marshall is a former resident of St. Charles Parish residing in River Ridge, Louisiana.  He is the son of Teresa Marshall of River Ridge and Bronson and Brittania Park of Billings, Montana; he has two siblings, Cruz and Nash; and,

WHEREAS,                     Brandon is a member of Troop 370 chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career August 2007; and,

WHEREAS,                     Brandon has spent the last 14 years as an active member of the Scouts spending the last 7 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,

WHEREAS,                     Brandon has earned his 26 merit badges from a list of 137 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by building two “Take a Book, Leave a Book” libraries; and,

WHEREAS,                     Brandon earned these 26 merit badges by showing leadership ability as Troop Guide, Chaplain Aide, Assistant Patrol Leader, and Troop Historian; and,

WHEREAS,                     Brandon rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on December 5, 2020, and received his medal in a ceremony on March 6, 2022, at the St. Anthony of Padua Community Activity Building in Luling; and,

WHEREAS,                     Brandon is attending the University of New Orleans on academic scholarship, majoring in Electrical Engineering and is on the President’s List.  He will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 370.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
