TRIBUTE

Division B, Councilman-At-Large Paul J. Hogan, PE is a native and resident of Des Allemands. He is a graduate of Hahnville High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Nicholls State University followed by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.

Councilman Hogan has an extensive record as an Elected Official representing St. Charles Parish. He is completing his third term in Office. He was first elected to the Parish Council in 2007 as the District IV Councilman and was re-elected for a second term in 2011. In 2015, he was elected Councilman-At-Large, Division B.

Councilman Hogan assisted with the layout and design of the George Prince Ferry Memorial monument which was dedicated October 17, 2009. He assisted in obtaining sponsors and was committed to the completion of the monument.

Councilman Hogan served as Chairman of the Special Projects/Public Safety, Health, and Environmental Committee for three terms; 2015 - 2017. He is a member of the Special Projects/Public Safety, Health, and Environmental Committee, the Contract/Finance and Administrative Committee, the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Management Committee, the Legislative Committee, and the Hurricane Protection Projects Committee.

Councilman Hogan is a member of the Sunset Drainage District Board of Directors, he served as the Ex-Officio member of The ARC of St. Charles Board of Directors, and as an Alternate member of the River Region Caucus from January 2008 - July 2019.

Councilman Hogan is a member of the Louisiana Police Jury Association and the National Association of County Officials.
