Title
A resolution requesting the Parish President to authorize the Public Works Director to secure all costs on purchasing and installation of security cameras at all Parish pump stations with monitoring capabilities to EOC and live transmission to the Government Access Channel. A complete report with all associated costs should be presented to the Parish Council prior to the regular scheduled Council Meeting of July 12, 2004.
Body
WHEREAS, these cameras would be aimed at the pump discharge pipes and canal level guage; and,
WHEREAS, live transmission would be sent to EOC and to the Government Access Channel identifying each pump station; and,
WHEREAS, during heavy rainfalls and hurricane season residents would have visual indication that the pumps are actually working.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the Parish President to authorize the Public Works Director to secure all costs on purchasing and installation of security cameras at all Parish pump stations with monitoring capabilities to EOC and live transmission to the Government Access Channel. A complete report with all associated costs should be presented to the Parish Council prior to the regular scheduled Council Meeting of July 12, 2004.
