Title
An ordinance to name an unnamed private road located at 16271 Old Spanish Trail in Des Allemands as Ruby Lane.
Body
WHEREAS, upon construction of this private road, no name was ever assigned; and,
WHEREAS, it has become necessary for the purpose of identification by Emergency 911 and US Postal Services to designate the private road with a name.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the unnamed private road at 16271 Old Spanish Trail in Des Allemands is hereby named Ruby Lane (Private).
SECTION II. That a copy of this ordinance be sent to the St. Charles Parish Communications District, the St. Charles Parish Planning Department, and the U.S. Postal Service.
SECTION II. That the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized to install the proper signs identifying Ruby Lane as a private lane in Des Allemands.

The forgoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of __________, 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
