Title
A resolution authorizing payment to Entergy Louisiana, Inc., in the sum of $197,450.08 for secondary power supply to the Hahnville Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 98-7-8, adopted by St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with C.R. Pittman Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of the Hahnville Regional WWTP in the amount of $12,399,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 01-3-6, adopted by St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a change order to the contract which, in part, included a credit of $357,000.00 for the installation of secondary power requirements for the Hahnville WWTP; and,
WHEREAS, the cost of this secondary power supply is $197,450.08. This power supply has been installed by Entergy which is the sole source provider of power.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby authorize the payment to Entergy in the sum of $197,450.08 for it having provided the secondary power supply.
