Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P070801, Furnish and Install Flex Rake Bar Screen Cleaners, to decrease the contract amount by $25,650.00 and to decrease the contract time by 64 days.

Body

WHEREAS,      Ordinance No. 07-10-8 adopted October 1, 2007, by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P070801, Furnish and Install Flex Rake Bar Screen Cleaners, to Sealevel Construction, Inc.; and,

WHEREAS,      it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with the actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $25,650.00 in the contract amount and a decrease in the contract time by 64 calendar days.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.  That the Administration is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 (Final) for the Furnish and Install Flex Rake Bar Screen Cleaners contract to decrease the contract amount by $25,650.00 and to decrease the contract time by 64 days.

SECTION II.  That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
