Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the establishment of a Home Occupation under the operation of Daniel T. Higgins, Sr. - "Daniel T. Higgins, Sr. DBA Dan Higgins Construction" - residential remodeling and new construction contractor at 151 Oaklawn Ridge Lane, St. Rose, La.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Code, Appendix A, Section XXII requires both Planning and Zoning Commission and Council approval for those home occupations requiring a state agency review for such operations; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed home occupation of Daniel T. Higgins, Sr. would require Louisiana State licensing for residential remodeling and new construction contractor.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the described home occupation application by Daniel T. Higgins, Sr., 151 Oaklawn Ridge Lane, St. Rose, La. is for - "Daniel T. Higgins, Sr. DBA Dan Higgins Construction" - residential remodeling and new construction contractor is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Department of Planning & Zoning is hereby authorized to grant Daniel T. Higgins, Sr. a home occupation permit for residential remodeling and new construction contractor.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of _________, 2006, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
