TRIBUTES
 
 
District IV Councilman, TERRY AUTHEMENT is a native of New Orleans and has been a resident of St. Charles Parish for 30 years.  Terry is completing his second term in office. He is a graduate of River Oaks Academy and received electrician and instrumentation training in Baton Rouge and LaPlace.  He is a veteran of the United States Navy.  Terry is married to Josie Puglise and they are the parents of Ashley and the grandparents of Taylor, Caleb, Samuel, and Elizabeth.
 
Terry has been an employee of Monsanto for 29 years as a first line Supervisor Maintenance Planner.  He is a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and served as Chairman of the Bicentennial Pledge Drive.  Terry is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Paradis Town Council Association.
 
Terry worked hard to effectuate change by addressing needed drainage improvements and implementation of the Bayou Gauche Sewerage Project.
 
Terry served as Council Chairman.  He served on the Operations, Maintenance, and Construction Management, Legislative, and Contract/Finance and Administrative Committees.  Terry is a member of the Louisiana Police Jury Association and the National Association of County Officials.  He also served as the Council's Ex-Officio member on the Coastal Zone Management Committee.
