Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 02-9-20, an Agreement with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for the West Bank Multi-Use Path, to provide for funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, State Project No 744-45-0007, Federal Aid Project No. ARRA-4502(500), formerly known as ENH-4502(500).
Body
WHEREAS, on September 23, 2002 the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 02-9-20 approving an Agreement with the Department of Transportation and Development for the West Bank Bicycle Path; and,
WHEREAS, on December 15, 2003 the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 03-12-7 approving Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to said Agreement for Phase II of said Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation and Development has prepared Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to said Agreement to provide funding for the project through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Supplemental Agreement No. 2.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to Enhancement Agreement, now known as Stimulus Agreement, for State Project No. 744-45-0007, Federal Project No. ARRA-4502(500), formerly known as ENH-4502(500), St. Charles West Bank Multi-use Path is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Supplemental Agreement No. 2 on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
