Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No P160302-1, Road Maintenance 2016, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in an increase of $218,790.12 and a decrease in time of twenty one (21) days.

Body

WHEREAS,                     Ordinance No. 16-9-14 adopted September 19, 2016 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No P160302-1, Road Maintenance 2016, to Barriere Construction Co, LLC; and,

WHEREAS,                     it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in an increase to the contract amount by $218,790.12 and a decrease in time of twenty one (21) days.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.                     That Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P160302-1, Road Maintenance 2016, to increase the contract amount by $218,790.12 and decrease the time by twenty one (21) days is hereby approved and accepted.

SECTION II.                     That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 1 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

 

 

 

 

And the ordinance was declared adopted this             day of                       , 2017, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
