Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 3 (Final) for Project No. P080905-3B, Willowridge Levee - Phase I, State Project No.H.009257, as part of the West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Project, to decrease the contract amount by $100,816.68 and increase the contract time by one hundred and seven (107) days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13-11-6, adopted November 18, 2013, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract Southern Delta Construction, LLC for Project No. P080905-3B, Willowridge Levee - Phase I, State Project No.H.009257, in the amount of $5,785,551.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14-4-1, adopted April 7, 2014, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Southern Delta Construction, LLC for Project No. P080905-3B, Willowridge Levee - Phase I, State Project No.H.009257, to increase the contract amount to $6,000,151.00 and increase the contract days to 455 days; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14-9-10, adopted September 15, 2014, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Southern Delta Construction, LLC for Project No. P080905-3B, Willowridge Levee - Phase I, State Project No.H.009257, to decrease the contract amount to $5,714,003.00 and increase the contract days to 457 days; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 (Final) is a result of changes within the scope of the contract to modify quantities to accurately reflect the final balancing of the project line items for the Construction Contract; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 (Final) also includes the removal of the installation of the concrete slabs at the levee gaps. The levee gaps will be filled by the Willowridge Pump Station Project which has been issued Notice to Proceed; and,
