IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Drayden Nicholas Naquin is a resident of St. Charles Parish, residing in Des Allemands, Louisiana with his parents Blake and Mary, sister Cheyenne and brother Broxton; and,
WHEREAS, Drayden is a member of Troop 370 chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career as a cub scout in August of 2015; and,
WHEREAS, Drayden has spent the last 11 years as an active member of Scouts America spending the last 7 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, Drayden has earned 43 merit badges from a list of 137 and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by constructing 10 outdoor trash receptacles for the St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Drayden earned these 43 merit badges by showing his leadership ability as Troop Scribe, Patrol Leader, and two term Senior Patrol Leader; and,
WHEREAS, Drayden rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on November 17, 2025, and received his medal in a ceremony on April 12, 2026, at the St. Anthony of Padua Community Activity Building in Luling; and,
WHEREAS, Drayden is a graduating Senior at Hahnville High School, and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by attending Loyola University in the fall to pursue a bachelor’s degree in fine arts.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
DRAYDEN NICHOLAS NAQUIN
